Insider Cluster Signals
Cluster buy/sell signals fire when three or more insiders at the same company independently file Form 4 transactions in the same direction within a 5-day window — a pattern historically associated with informed trading. The signals below are streamed live from the Form4API insider trading API and exclude 10b5-1 plan trades automatically.

// about cluster signals
Why cluster buying matters
A single insider buying their own stock is a modest signal. Several insiders at the same company independently buying within a few days of each other is a much stronger one — it is far harder to explain a cluster as personal liquidity or diversification, and the pattern has historically preceded above-average returns more reliably than isolated buys. Research on insider transactions consistently finds that coordinated, open-market purchases carry more predictive power than one-off trades.
Form4API flags a cluster when three or more insiders at one company file same-direction Form 4 transactions inside a rolling five-day window. Pre-scheduled Rule 10b5-1 plan trades are excluded automatically, so what you see reflects discretionary conviction rather than mechanical, calendar-driven selling.
